MOHANAD WINS AT LINGFIELD
After coming 3rd at Sandown earlier this week (Wednesday 20th July) Mohanad, under a great ride from Harry Bentley wins in great style at Lingfield this evening.

Tracked leading pair, slightly outpaced over 4f out but still going well enough, went 2nd over 2f out and soon closed on leader, shaken up to lead over 1f out, ridden and stayed on well (op 15-8)

DENTON RYAL 2ND AT WARWICK
Still in the prize money Denton Ryal put in another good performace but beaten squarely by a better horse on the day.

Denton Ryal has been in decent heart at Worcester, taking a claimer and a seller, in the latter beating a subsequent scorer. She ran her race here but lacked the pace of the winner at a crucial stage.

Another horse from the Mick Channon yard that is already showing potential. Sheena, yet again has proved that many horses that were moderate or better on the flat can go on to do well over hurdles and in many cases gives them a new lease of life.

Alfraamsey is a dual winning sprinter on the level and, despite now being with a stable adept at winningthese sort of races, stamina was a big worry ahead of this hurdling debut. He ran really well, though, and is entitled to improve for the experience.
